 Thank you Homer Glen voters for turning out in great numbers yesterday. Your sincere, humbling support for my candidacy helped to bring me within 15 votes of surpassing an incumbent trustee in my first run for office. While a decisive victory would have been nicer, I am not terribly disappointed with these results. There are absentee ballots yet to be counted, which could take up to 2 weeks, and in such a close race this still provides a remote chance for victory. Most importantly though, you are wonderful, civic-minded patriots whose confidence I cherish, and I hope you will engage the new village board and continue to stand-watch over this wonderful community we call “Home”.
